Is NMN Safe?

Recently, the Japanese team published the results of the first phase I clinical trial. NMN was administered to 10 healthy men at doses of 10, 100, and 250 mg, respectively. It was found that a single oral administration of NMN did not cause any obvious clinical trials. Symptoms or changes in major physiological indicators, such as heart rate, blood pressure, blood oxygen saturation, and body temperature. This clinical trial shows that NMN is safe and well-tolerated.

Daily Dose of NMN

30-40 years old: 200-400 mg/day

40-50 years old: 400-600 mg/day

50-60 years old: 600-800 mg/day

Another way to calculate the required dose of NMN is to consider body weight. Assuming that mice taking 100 mg/kg/day of NMN daily can prevent most age-related physiological NAD declines, then the equivalent body surface area dose for humans is about 8 mg/kg/day.
